Pattaya, Thailand-Well-known fitness YouTuber Leo Rex, known as Leo and Longevity on Youtube, was found dead in a Pattaya home last evening, January 30th, 2023, according to Pattaya police.

According to Pattaya Police Chief Kunlachart Kunlachai, police responded to a call by other occupants of a home in Pattaya Lagoon Village, located off of Soi Kor Phai, Moo 10, at 8:30 P.M. on January 30th, 2023.

 

Upon arrival at the residence, police found a 34-year-old American citizen, Laith Abdullah Algaz, known as Leo Rex online, deceased in a bedroom with a private bathroom. Embassy and family members were reportedly contacted by Pattaya police.

 

Chief Kunlachart stated to the associated Thai press that the room appeared to have been messy and possibly ransacked and items were scattered across the bedroom and bathroom. Blood was found on the floor of the bedroom as well, he added.

Mr. Algaz was found deceased on the floor of the room wearing only a black t-shirt and no pants with dried blood seen coming from his nose and mouth, said Pattaya Police. Investigators at the scene told The Pattaya News that Mr. Algaz had been dead for about five hours.

Sure for ease of solving the case it will go down as severe epileptic fit !

Sounds suspicious. Glad they have not pronounced suicide yet. Maybe the Taiwanese gal has shaken up the goons enough to force them to do some actual law enforcement work. 

 

Kind of feels like tempting fate, to nickname yourself Longevity. 

Only 34 years old.... no matter how he died, when I read his age... it's always so sad to hear of people dying so young! ???? R.I.P.

I was going to comment that apparently his health and fitness advice don't work - but seems like his longevity was more affected by staying in Pattaya and likely either drugs or questionable dating choices. RIP.

It's not a foregone conclusion.  The verdict is also often "heart attack". Suicide is an all too frequent verdict when a fall from height is involved, although wasn't that also the Thai verdict in the David Carradine case?

Wow... just read a bit about the guy. A VERY troubled individual, to say the least.... History of domestic violence, heavy drinking, drugs, seriously racist, misogynist (although, he was apparently Arab, so maybe, giving the benefit of the doubt, some of that can be chalked up to a VERY different worldview), and his wife took out a restraining order against him last year. Some referred to him, with seemingly good reason, as a narcissistic sociopath.
Anyway... he ends up in Pattaya....? Hmmmmm Who knows, but it wouldn't seem like the place one would go if they were trying to reform their life.
Regardless of what kind of an individual he may have been, death is still not something I'd be glad came about at his young age. A reformed life, on the other hand, would have been, obviously, a more beneficial and fulfilling thing for him and everyone else.

RIP Leo...

I've always said you have to watch out for the healthy stuff, it'll kill you.

No you just hear of them because the d league celebrity means it gets reported.. Theres more of them now.. 

May have been on the Shane Warne shredding diet.  Thailand has always been the place where one can come to build muscle fast, or lose fat quickly.  Both can have serious consequences. 

 

 

I had stumbled across his content a few times, he seemed like a pretty smart guy.

So, not murdered then, unless someone had his key and stopped to lock the door before fleeing the scene. Haven't seen that phrase recently, have we, fleeing the scene. Seems to have gone out of fashion.

Just another read, pick and have an easily digested popular so called DR opinion who have all the answers. 

 

Blood out of nose can be because of drugs, or more likely a cocktail of drugs and long abuse. Anyway high blood pressure and hearth failure can  give blood out of nose.

Yes. But I haven't read it for a long time, probably since before Covid. Strange.
