webfact Posted February 1, 2023 Share Posted February 1, 2023 Phuket – Legal actions are being taken against seven illegal taxi drivers in Phuket. By Goongnang Suksawat The Phuket Land Transport Office (PLTO) reported yesterday (January 31st) that relevant officials inspected an area near the Rassada Pier in the Rassada sub-district, Mueang Phuket. Five taxi car drivers were found using vehicles to transfer tourists as illegal taxis (Black Plates). Two taxi drivers (Green Plates) from other provinces were also found servicing in the area against rules and regulations.
