webfact Posted February 3, 2023 Share Posted February 3, 2023 Picture: Thai Rath Thai Raht reported that the Na Jomtien police in the Pattaya area responded with rescue services to the scene of a motorcycle collision with a lamppost. It happened in Moo 2 beside the railway tracks behind a housing estate. Dead at the scene with a broken right leg was the driver of a Honda Click, 53 year old Chalee Suphap from Trat. The pillion passenger, Thonglor, 56, his wife who hails from Chanthaburi, had a fractured skull and was taken to hospital. A bottle of lao khao or Thai white spirits was found at the scene. Witnesses in the area reported seeing the couple arguing while drinking the spirit before leaving on a motorcycle.
