After five days of extensive searching, the body of a missing man has been located near the Ku Dong dam in Bung Khla subdistrict, Muang district, Chaiyaphum. The man, a local resident, disappeared on September 24, after reportedly falling into a drainage pipe. Search teams, equipped with a evacuator for weed removal, scoured the area extensively, covering a radius of over 8 kilometres from the point of disappearance. Efforts were focused around the dam area, where volunteers and officials worked tirelessly to locate the missing individual. The body was discovered by search teams on September 28, approximately eight kilometres from the initial site where the man was last seen. Authorities were promptly notified to conduct an investigation and autopsy before the body was prepared for religious rites. Community members expressed their relief at the discovery, mourning the loss while also thanking the volunteers and search teams for their relentless efforts in the challenging task. A man recently shared a harrowing experience on TikTok, after being bitten by a snake during a nighttime hike in the mountains, sparking widespread debate online. The man, identified as TikTok user @arunsrisuwan512, posted a video describing his ordeal after being bitten by a venomous green pit viper while searching for fish in the Banthat mountain range, Phatthalung. The video, which he called his "final clip from the trip," shows him using traditional survival methods passed down through his family to address the snake bite. The man explained that the snake bit him on his foot, causing immediate swelling. In response, he tied a vine-like plant above the bite and applied herbal remedies to the area. He also took painkillers to alleviate joint and leg pain, with the goal of making it down the mountain and getting to a hospital. In the clip, the man describes his injury: “The snake bit me on the back of my foot. The inner sole hasn’t swollen yet, but the outer side has. I used an herbal vine to tie around my ankle, applied some green oil, and took painkillers to reduce the pain. I just need to walk home first, then I’ll head to the hospital.” He recounted that the incident occurred after he had finished setting up fishing traps and was preparing for the next activity when the snake struck. He was later treated at the hospital for seven days before being discharged to recover at home. Once the video went viral, many netizens voiced their concerns, with some warning against his use of a tight vine around the ankle, a traditional remedy for snake bites. Commenters advised that this method can worsen the injury, increasing the risk of severe tissue damage. Several users suggested immobilising the bitten area instead of tying it off to prevent further harm. One commenter shared a personal story: “Tying the area is outdated and dangerous knowledge. My younger sibling was once bitten by a cobra. What made it worse was the necrosis caused by tying the leg, leading to surgery to remove dead tissue and replace it with healthy tissue from the thigh. It was a painful experience, especially for a five-year-old child.” The man who posted the video is known to be a descendant of a family of traditional healers, specializing in snake bite treatments passed down through generations. Elderly Woman Abducted from Hospital: Sister Appeals for Help
A 63-year-old woman, Khunlin Jokklad, urgently reported to police on September 28, that her 70-year-old sister, Amphon Jokklad, has been abducted from a local hospital in Pathum Thani, by a mysterious man. The incident occurred on the evening of September 27, prompting her to file a complaint at the Pratunam Chulalongkorn Police Station. According to Khunlin, she brought her sister to the Pathumthani Hospital on September 23 for treatment of food aspiration and paralysis, along with memory issues. On September 27, hospital staff informed her that Amphon was ready to be discharged. Due to her own struggles with depression and age-related limitations, Khunlin requested that her sister's three children come to take her home. However, when Khunlin visited the hospital the following morning with care packages for Amphon, she discovered that her sister had already been taken away by someone claiming to be her son. Alarmed, Khunlin contacted her sister’s relatives and learned that no one had come to pick her up. Upon reviewing the hospital's surveillance footage, it was revealed that a man, who did not resemble any family member, had taken Amphon in a taxi, raising concerns for her safety. The footage shows a man with dark skin and a shaved head lifting Amphon into a taxi before driving away. Khunlin expressed her disbelief that hospital staff would allow her sister to leave with someone who was not family, considering she had been the one to bring Amphon in for care. “I’m extremely worried. My sister is elderly and has multiple health issues. I urge the authorities to help bring her back,” Khunlin pleaded. In response, Pol. Lt. Col. Wichaya Phankham, head of the police station’s investigation unit, has initiated an inquiry and is coordinating with the hospital to review the footage and locate the taxi driver who picked up Amphon. Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
Marriage is a contract between a man and a woman that a man will support a women in her need to have children, and in return she will have sex with him. When women don't fulfill their side of the bargain, they don't deserve half of everything. Unfortunately, western law is biased against men when it comes to marriage. Perhaps all men getting married need to rent the house and lease the car, so the gold digger doesn't get it all when she stops living up to her side of the contract.
