Poramase on Monday, February 6th, met and handed a gift to Pol. Col. Thanapong Phothi, the new Pattaya police captain who had recently been appointed to the station on February 1st. The mayor congratulated Thanapong. He consulted with the new chief on several issues, including prioritizing the safety of residents and tourists. Friend of mine (local shopkeeper) said Monday/Tuesday was "hiding from police". Good to stay away from CBD & Malls for a few weeks, if not forever.????????
