BANGKOK (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is leading a delegation of 70 Thai tourism suppliers to the 56th edition of ITB Berlin from March 7-9, 2023, marking the first in-person staging of the travel show since the pandemic.

According to the TAT, the Thailand Stand at ITB Berlin 2023 will showcase the theme of ’Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters’ and highlight the kingdom’s 5Fs soft-power foundations, including Food, Film, Fashion, Festival, and Fight, as well as new tourism offerings and experiences.

TAT Governor Yuthasak Supasorn said the strong Thailand presence at ITB Berlin 2023 will signify to the global travel and tourism community that Thailand is once again welcoming all visitors. This is in line with the ’Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters’ campaign, which focuses on experience-based tourism and a meaningful travel experience.

Moreover, ITB Berlin 2023 will provide an opportunity for the delegation of Thai tourism suppliers to connect face-to-face with overseas tour operators, both existing and potential new partners.

TAT is also organizing the "Discover Thailand Journey to Happiness" special event from March 9-11, 2023, at the KaDeWe department store in Berlin to showcase Thailand’s 5 soft power foundations. The event is also set to feature cooking demonstrations, and performances of Thai arts and culture.
