Ra Bo Pai police in Prachinburi in central/NE Thailand and Ruam Katanyu rescue services were called after a head on collision between a Toyota Vigo pick-up and a Honda Wave motorcycle on the Ban Ra Bo Pai Road in Nong Prong sub-district.

6-year-old boy falls to his death from expressway after road accident

A six-year-old boy fell to his death from an expressway onto the road about 30 meters below when a brand-new pickup truck, being driven by his father, crashed into the guard rail after he lost control of the vehicle, reportedly due to a locked steering wheel.

300,000-Baht Coffee Maker and CCTV Camera Stolen from Cafe in Sri Racha

A thief broke a Sri Racha cafe’s glass door and stole a 300,000-baht coffee grinder. The thief also did not forget to take with them the venue’s CCTV camera before running away.

Top Thai virologist says 2023 is game over for COVID-19

This year is “game over” for COVID-19, as the World Health Organisation is expected to stop counting global daily infections, because reports of infections by every country submitted to the organisation are lower than actual figures and the disease will become seasonal, according to Dr. Yong Poovorawan, head of the Centre of Excellence of Clinical Virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.

Arrivals in Thailand from countries hit by Marburg virus to be screened

The Disease Control Department has instructed international disease control checkpoints at all ports of entry to screen all arrivals from countries currently reported to be affected by Marburg Virus Disease (MVD) as a precautionary measure.

Bus driver suspended for 30 days, fined ฿5k over road accident in Bangkok

A bus driver was fined 5,000 baht and suspended from driving for 30 days after he allegedly jumped a red light at the Ratchadapisek-Lat Phrao intersection and rammed into a pickup truck on Monday morning.

Owners of 27 trawlers accused of illegal fishing in Tarutao National Park

A complaint was lodged with Bang Khen police today (Monday), by Thailand’s Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, accusing the owners of 27 trawlers of encroaching on and illegal fishing in Tarutao National Park, in the seas off the southern province of Satun.
