I am afraid to take the train during rainy season (but I do it anyway). :o

Is it the rain that sweeps the train into the river?

Does the rain render the track slippery and the the train slips off?

Or do the trains falls into rivers in all seasons, but falling with it into a swollen river (splash-drown) is worse than falling into a shallow one (thud-only concussed)?

I too have a straight face.

Anyway I like trains and would rather exit from the world in one of them than in a plane, bus - or even bullock cart.

Actually, the tracks and bridges are getting quite old and the constant rains make the ground soft during rainy season and when the heavy train goes over a bridge the ground shifts and the train falls off.

Last year, the Bangkok Post made it sound like it is real crisis and that something should be done quickly, but everyone has forgotten about it, except me! :D
