The latest restrictions target more than 100 entities both within Russia and worldwide, including banks and suppliers of defence equipment. Specifically, the US said it wants to stop those helping Russia exploit loopholes to get sanctioned materials. The White House's fresh round of aid for Ukraine is worth $2bn (£1.7bn). vandeventer Posted February 25, 2023 Share Posted February 25, 2023 If the powers to be in the USA had any brains they would have been producing a lot more oil and gas to keep the prices down. There is no law forbidding to sell to China, or forbidding brokers to resell to China (which is what happened). On top of it, it's a global market so China did not get any favour. They paid the global market price and would have bought from another supplier at the same price anyway. BTW, what means "A lot"? Which % of oil exports went to China in 2022?
