There is no military or police force in the world that trains members to "shoot to injure". That is a fallacy from bad Hollywood movies.  Firearms are only to be used if your life is in danger, and then they are to be used to neutralize the threat.  Aim for the "centre of visible mass".

As for being from outside the community, Grosskreutz drove from farther away than Rittenhouse. So logically he shouldn't have been their either, eh? Ditto Rosenbaum, who was from Texas and had just been released from a mental hospital in far away Milwaukee. Shoulda stayed home too.

As for police, they have alternatives such as stun guns, which unfortunately some misuse and "accidentally" kill people. So theoretically police are equipped to handle demonstrations, while Rittenhouse was not.

As for distant people joining the demo, that's different than counter demonstrators arriving with AR 15s. You have to take into account the egregious act which precipitated the demonstration, which naturally brought people from a distance. How many of them had AR 15s?

Who knows what the outcome would have been in Kyle and his friends didnt make an effort to stop the arsonists , I expect that more properties would have been set on fire .

Had the deceased NOT violently attacked Kyle , they wouldn't now be deceased .

Had they not put Kyles life in danger, then they wouldn't have been shot

Watching the news highlights  of mob violence  run a muck while used car lots and other structures  were set on fire , makes one wonder what role law enforcement played “during the riot”.

It was sad to watch some of these businesses being destroyed! I followed the events and watched Rittenhouse and many others who

took up against those actions!

“On each of the next two nights, however, rioters set fire to cars in his lot. Khindri said the first night of mayhem caused $1.5 million in damages to the business; the second night finished off the rest of the cars, adding up to a total of $2.5 million in estimated damage costs.

Here’s what legal experts say helped acquit Kyle Rittenhouse.

“(Prosecutors) weren’t able to show that his response to each of these men, to each of these sets of threats was unreasonable,” criminal defense attorney Sara Azari told CNN’s Pamela Brown.
“When the jury came back a couple days ago and watched the videos… frame by frame, they were looking to see whether Kyle did something to provoke the threat and whether his response to that threat was reasonable in terms of using deadly force and they agreed with the defense that it was,” Azari added.

The trend in the US to militarize the police has certainly not set a good example. First, recruiting from ex-military, then giving the police used military equipment such as APCs:

It's not surprising that right-wing and reactionary citizens mimic police violence.

Now, who was being violent ?

Was it the Police ?

Was it the "right wing reactionary citizens" ?

Or was it the left wing street rioters/arsonist/looters ?
