Andyfez
Sometimes when parking, I have to leave my car in front of the usual row of cars, and I'm told to leave my car in neutral so that they can move it backwards and forwards to allow other cars to come out. I can leave my car in neutral. However the car will not lock the doors without leaving it in P for park. Am I doing something wrong?
MJCM
My car (not a Honda) has a slot near/next to the P and when insert your key into it you are able to put your Car into N after you have turned off your engine (and put your car into P ???? ) Maybe your car has the same? Edit: Found a Video on YT on approx what to do (in our car we have to insert the key into a slot) Edited March 4, 2023 by MJCM

Andrew Dwyer
I had a Honda Jazz and the procedure was as @MJCM stated above. The “ key” was hidden inside the fob and extracted by squeezing and pulling the silver part, yours might be the same.
