THE ELECTION COMMISSION has been petitioned today (Mar.7) to take steps toward a possible dissolution of the Pheu Thai for having a politically-banned person help with the party’s ongoing electoral campaign.

Sonthiya Sawasdee, member of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart, called on the polling agency to forward the case over to the Constitutional Court to consider dissolving the Pheu Thai, guided by de facto party boss Thaksin Shinawatra, for evidently allowing former Red Shirt leader Nattawut Saikua to publicly launch speeches of political content during the party’s campaign stumps in the provinces.

Sonthiya contended that Nattawut who has been sentenced by court to two years and eight months in jail and prohibited from all levels of politics for 10 years should not have been allowed to play such political roles in public.

As usual, they don't care about the laws. Otherwise they wouldn't care what that criminal fugitive wants to say.

In a democracy fugitive criminals don't lead a political party.

And in a functioning democracy nobody would vote for such criminals.

In a functioning democracy there would be no packing of Parliament with 250 unelected senators whose only intention on any vote is to support a military installed Govt.

Wondered when and how Pray-hoot would rid himself of his arch rivals family in politics.  Found the key.

I agree... but the current government is doing the same.....With a coup the grabbed the power, the elections that followed were manipulated and the next are already with rules that benefit the current parties most.... That is criminal too

But having a convicted drug smuggler in politics is perfectly ok so long as he's batting for the yellow team.

How many decades have they, and you, been living in a dream that never happens?!

Strange definition of the phrase "speeches of political content"........

An post attempting to deflect the discussion to the USA and a reply has been removed.

Should be the same for coup leaders as well.  Just because the coup leaders granted themselves "amnesty" should mean squat.

Yet again, political muck-raking to eliminate serious opposition! I wonder how long an attempt is made to dissolve the Move Forward Party?

What about a rigged senate, a man in power who was not on a ballot, a man who broke his own made up constitution with rigged judiciary, rigged election. One could go on and on about the breaches of "The Party" but pointless but there is one thing for sure the PTP will be prevented from taking part or there will be a fixing of the result "How long are they keeping hold of the ballot boxes again?"

There is only one way to take back the country, the same as it was taken. Its time!!!

Lets see what way the election goes and what party gets the majority..

then see how they decide to pick [not vote] for the next PM...

if a military guy gets the top job I could see trouble ahead.

Ahh, Thai politics. You wouldn't be dead for quids.
