Airport Immigration officials uncovered 43 kilos of heroin worth over 107 million baht yesterday 
The haul was packaged with traditional hiltribe costumes destined for Hong kong, 

In all 29 boxes of clothes were found stuffed with heroin with a declaration form stating they were home appliances. So far no arrests were reported.

 

A man wanted for stabbing his wife to death after trying to set her on fire was arrested in Chechensao yesterday.

The 42 year old from khon kaen had fled in a pick up after the attack on Monday,

Police believe they found the knife used in the killing in the mans truck.

 

A 45 year old American teacher, 45, was charged with negligent homicide yesterday after an eight-year-old boy drowned in the sea off the coast of Chumphon over the weekend. The teacher and his wife were on holiday with some friends on the beach when the young boy and a friend got into difficulty while  playing in the sea, the 8 year old disappeared while the other boy was rescued, the 8 year olds body was found the following day. 

 

Bangkok's local authority has advised resident to wear facemasks following the recent increase in air pollution,
Levels have consistently been in the red which is unhealthy and are expected to continue for the next few days.
They also say anyone respiratory problems should seek medical attention.
