Gee, with all your salient points (like all Thais are Thais) and the accompanying detailed memories in support of your contention that all Thais are corrupt, well, there’s just nothing left to say now, is there?

Needless to say, my point still stands and will stand as long as your disdain for the entire citizenry is the only thing you actually bring to the table. You sound suspiciously like someone who has a troubling past and resultant outlook on their host-culture. Regardless, the only response l can muster is, unsurprisingly - bullocks to your position, your superficial approach to the subject matter, and whatever donkey you road in on. I mean, the entire culture is corrupt? Are you even aware of what culture entails for Dog’s sake?

Well presented.

As these kind of folks [and there are much too many] have really nothing else left.

Miserable sods.

About 1.32 million people in Thailand were affected by air pollution-related diseases between the beginning of the year and March 5th. A specialist in respiratory diseases and tuberculosis is warning that PM2.5 dust can also affect unborn children, if pregnant women are exposed to excessive levels of the fine dust.

I sincerely hope they vote wisely this time around.

Teach the politicians it's time to do something for the people.

1.3 million X 10

Pfft, so much complaining. If there was a problem, the caring and benevolent  ruling administration would act decisively and crackdown. They can find protestors to the ruling  cadre within hours, so they can find the responsible land burners  and air polluters easy peasy.

Besides, no one is really protesting. Many Chinese, Indians and Russians love Thailand and find air quality acceptable. Their happiness is all that matters.

I appreciate that and of course agree. Not matter which way we turn, it promises to be an uphill battle from here on out. Just don’t give in. Ever. There’s no payoff.

The headline should read.

"Every person in Thailand seriously affected by the air pollution and 1.3 million at present seriously ill and dying"
