markusss
Hi TV community. Since recently moving into a rental the Thai owner/landlord has told me that I can register the TM30 myself. My last landlord registered it themselves, which I assumed the landlord is legally required to do. Can I register it myself as my current landlord suggested? And if i choose not to, will i possibly be denied visa extensions etc? Apologies if this subject has already been well covered. Thank you
NoDisplayName
Ask your landlord if the apartment is registered on the Sec.38 app. If so, he can do your TM30 in a couple minutes, or can give you the login information to do it yourself. If not, and you think you'll need a TM30 for extensions, you may be able to register the apartment as possessor uploading the rental contract and your passport.

BeerAttractedPerson
Most likely you need a copy of the house book too and ID copy of the apartment owner. ( At least at Samut Prakan immigration where I did a TM30 as possessor of the house I'm renting) Contract Owners ID card copy House book copy ( property deed)
