Non-O (marriage based) visa extension renewal questions for the first time after passport renewal.

Thank you for answering my question.

I am planning to extend my Non O (marriage based) visa for a fourth year.

However, my passport is about to expire and I am renewing my passport at the consulate in November 2022.

At that time, I have already completed the process of transferring the stamp to the new passport.

I am aware that the annual extension is in May 2023 and that a copy of the Non-O visa will be required at that time.

Is the copy of the visa attached to my previous passport sufficient?

Do I need to get a new Non-O visa?

Thank you.

Photocopy of non O from old pp is sufficient.

In addition the information relating to that visa would have been entered into your new pp in very first page.

Provide photocopy of that page also.

I took both my old and new passports to avoid any possibility of being asked for the old one and not having it with me, as a precaution not to do another 150km round trip.
