NONG CHOK
Hi there, I use a DTAC one year wifi SIM card and it works very good. The only thing I don't like is every year I insert a new SIM card I need to change the phone number in all my apps. Can I retain my current phone number, if not can I just keep on pre paying online my one year wifi to keep the existing phone number. Thanks. Popular Post n00dle
I only buy dual sim phones. My number remains constant and I renew internet as needed using the second slot 1 1
Madgee
Yes you can! It's called DTAC Net Immortal 365 days. Unlimited data ........ Various speeds at various prices. I prefer to use just one sim for all my needs. If there was a huge price difference between keeping the same number (over 10 years now) and using a separate sim just for internet usage I might consider it. I use the unlimited 10mbps deal which has been superb for all my needs. JMHO.
NONG CHOK
Just to explain myself in more depth. Initially I purchased a DTAC one year SIM card from Lazada which is 15Mbps and cost 1,400 baht.. Everything is fine but now it's time to to renew the SIM card. My question is can I top up my current SIM card and in doing so retain my current phone number. Thanks. Edited March 20, 2023 by NONG CHOK
treetops
I'm sure this is discussed often in the "Mobile Devices & Apps" forum https://aseannow.com/forum/146-mobile-devices-apps/ and from what I recall these "good" packages need a new phone number every year. Go to a dtac store or log on line and see if you can add to your number

DTAC 30 Mbps new SIM is 1,690 baht, often on promotion to 1,390. https://www.tree-mobile.com/product/ซิมเทพ30mbps Note free voice calls on net, 60 min free each month off net. So solutions for both market segments. The difference in price/cost is because new subscribers are a significant goal each quarter, as is churn, lost customers etc. So new SIMs are incentivized. And the Chinese SIM farms need supplies. Edited March 21, 2023 by bamnutsak

Yes, but... 2,500 for 365 days, 6 Mbps cap on speed unlimited volume), or buy a new SIM/number.
NONG CHOK
I think a quick fix in my case is to simply buy a cheap SIM card as my phone has 2 slots.
