How often can I enter LOS using UK passport and Visa Exemption if enter the country by air and can I get an extension each time?

I read somewhere that as long as I did not use the land borders and used airlines I could re-enter 6 times. Is this true?

Theoretically, unlimited times by air. Same as for extensions. However, at some point the IO at the airport might decide that you 'come too often, or stay too long in Thailand'. Arriving 6 times visa-free in a row, and being admitted would be lucky, unless there are longer times out of the country in between.

You can enter as often as they let you in. I realize that isn't really helpful, but there's no set limit and immigration at airports are known to make up their own rules. You're rolling the dice, and the more time you spend in Thailand visa exempt, the riskier it is bound to get.

Your idea of 6 visa exempt entries via air and perhaps a 30 day extension to each would provide 12 month stay in Thailand without ever obtaining a visa or using land entry.

You would end being refused entry.

Just bring back the old days come go as you please by air l rented apartment Na Kluea Pattaya for 1.5 years border hop monthly to Vietnam or Cambodia few days to week come back Thai people still making money street vendors ,  food , rent ,utilities , shopping malls, , bars , cafe's etc,. keeps Thai economy ticking over all bs since coup d'etat Thai Jaunta killed Thai economy off flip flops rule changes ! l'm one those doesn't want leave  my money in Thai bank account past experience with Thai banks they don't need balaclava to rob you! loved  old days lot easy not police state too much paper work now bs house papers this & that red tape non stop , was ex expat in Thai prior & local were happy making money who really cares you spending your money into Thai economy not harming anyone Bring back Thaksin for all his faults was no racists like Jaunta Dictatorship since 2014 Thailand gone down hill like commo dictatorship without being communist supposedly Democratic more  Coups d'etat than any other country on the planet since end of WW11 ( 2), I have not been back Thailand since 2018 as become more Droconian country That was befor Covid & post covid getting worse for Thai people financially from some of my old Thai friends ! strange as it sounds living in Communist Vietnam past 6 months can border cross land or air often as u like often no restrictions  of entry , mus have evisa , pay each month still they know your spending money in Vn .  However recently decided go back Philippines in May Visa my main reason you can stay upto 3 years on tourist visas & renew inside Philippines at any local immigration office. lm retired don't have put money  up or in there banking system or prove how much my Aussie pension is $! not everyone on EU or US Pension / social security lot higher than Australian pensions,  So no discrimination with US$ vs Aus $ . Easy rent apartment or Townhouse simple go local immigration extend your visa 2 month or 6 month + pay and leave approx =$30 per month ,7000 + Islands
