I met an old worker I was jealous
Guy I worked with in the states was 73 he was getting a bit weak got checked and doctors did not want to let hime leave required immediate bypass surgery. He told them to stuff it Reason it was a small hospital if anything went wrong it would have been a helicopter and he was not covered by insurance for that. So he went t the main hospital had the Bypass (triple) Within 3 weeks he was out with me part of it was that i was holding his business together keeping his long term projects up to speed. I always worried he might over do it It was fall and we were mulching throwing a couple of tons off each morning it soon got him up to recovery levels. He only travels internally asked why he still worked My wife would have me working in our yard and I dont get paid for that he said so he's much rather be out working keeping fit putting cash in his pocket that he could spend on his grand kids Surprised me a lot how many folk over retirement age want to work some have to in order to keep a crtain comfort level they are used to others know they would just fade away Retirement should be voluntary not compulsary
