She went to two lawyers. Each quoted her a 120,000 baht fee. While she was not on the account, she did have the ATM card and PIN. I don't know what she chose to do, but I have a guess.

I have a 10 year partner.

Not married.

She has my bank details.

Against law to withdrawal funds upon death.

No 100% sure

But think,  if it's a joint account she can take 50%

straight out.

I suggest that all farang expats living in Thailand have a Will.

 

Here is thread and covers having wife as signatory in bank book.
