My solution is just do not go to Northern Thailand during the smoky season. Plenty of other times where the air

is much better. I would stay in Hua Hin and enjoy the ocean air until the smoke has left the northern parts.

Hua Hin's air is also polluted about half of the time. Not as bad as CR or CM now, but also red or orange. Need to go to Trang or Satun for green air. Thanks to subsidizing sugar farmers. BTW, we drovecpast Hua Hin the other day, the by pass road, and there is more plastic litter than many slums in India. Thailand has degraded the last 10 year to sheer filth.
