That's funny. I am a non native speaker and have zero problems to understand.

Every year when it's too late I think: where you could you flee to? (neighboring countries)

Not too far, not too expensive.

Now sitting in the madhouse, 200 m from here a few thousand watts hammering.

In the village they start about 8-9 in the morning and most if not all are knocked by dark….. and 

seems like most normal years no Covid they think Songkran is 7-8 days uggghhh

 

Thankfully I’ll be at home on the outskirts of the village … music didn’t stop Monday until 03:00 am and could be heard at our house from the village
