You really need to go to BK for any urology issues. Good luck Damage to a urethra IMO is far more likely with a rigid cystoscope than a flexible cystoscope. I have had both, and I always get more bleeding with the rigid version. Strictures of the urethra statistically occur in 2% of patients, perhaps you have just been unlucky.
