In Sri Racha, a male foreigner reportedly crashed his motorcycle into a Thai woman, seriously injuring her, and has yet to take responsibility, according to the woman’s boyfriend.

CCTV footage from Paradise Hill 1 Village showed Ms. Kotchakon Khetkhunthod riding her green and blue Honda motorcycle to a convenience store when Mr. Thomas V., a foreigner of unknown nationality, who appeared to lose consciousness while riding a motorbike, veered off his lane and collided with Ms. Kotchakon’ vehicle.

Ms. Kotchakon, aged 32, suffered several serious injuries including a broken arm, severed tendons, and torn muscles. Both parties including Mr. Thomas, who was also injured, were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

I don't think you can just demand justice, need to get the police involved and preferably a lawyer to ensure the police follow up

Someone with a history of drunk driving and causing accidents should simply be deported with a ban on re-entry after this matter is resolved.

'reported the incident to the Nong Prue Police Station and submitted evidence for further investigation at a local hospital.'

The police are considering whether to leave their A/C offices and go out into the heat.

A fresh reminder to those tough guys who choose the road of crimes and violence.

One punch or even a shove can kill, are there consequences?

Indeed, we dont need these kind of foreigners.

THis guy is responsible even if he was sober. So he either pays up oor have his insurance do it.

This looks like the accident I saw in Khao Noi Pattaya a few days ago.

Happened at the bend in the soi at the swiss restaurant and the old Fatboy's bar.... I assume farang was coming down the road too hot and failed to negotiate the bend running wide and clean up the girl.... she was all <deleted> up and he looked to be unconscious.

Imagine the damage he would have done had he been stoned on weed.  /s

If they can find him, seems he's done a runner and laying low somewhere.

Should the lady not be claiming her medical expenses through her own insurance, then the insurer goes after him? Or does it not work like that here? Genuine question as I don't know.

And if there are, are they a deterrent. I wonder if the marksman whose idea of resolving a bit of road rage was to shoot a man dead from behind ever got punished.

Question to raise first is did the lady have a Licence and Insurance for the motorbike she was riding with no helmet... (it sort of works like that a lot here...)

Hope she recovers ok and the guy (he may have had a medical emergency)
