A Thai man implanted magnets into his own fingers for 40 years in order to cheat in the popular but illegal Hi-Lo dice game. He finally asked a doctor to remove them because he wanted to board a flight and was scared his magnetic fingers would sound the alarm at airport security.

Dispirited Prayut exits stage left after Chuwit addressed him by megaphone on cannabis policy

Scenes from Chinatown in Bangkok on Thursday evening as Chuwit Kamolvisit led a crowd to the restaurant where Prime Minister Prayut Chan ocha was dining with top aides and asked him to explain his policy on marijuana. Afterwards, the PM was pictured in his car frowning but later said it was more to do with the hot weather and not related to Mr Chuwit’s antics. He said he smiled every day but not for bad people.


Afterwards, General Prayut said he was not angry because of Mr Chuwit’s presence and attributed his frown to the hot weather. He told the press that he smiled every day but not for bad people.
