Four members of the far-right Proud Boys have been found guilty of seditious conspiracy by a jury in Washington, DC, for their roles to forcibly prevent the peaceful transfer of power from then-President Donald Trump to Joe Biden after the 2020 election.

Enrique Tarrio – the Proud Boys longtime chairman – Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs and Zachary Rehl were found guilty Thursday on seditious conspiracy and a range of other charges, including three separate conspiracy charges, obstructing the Electoral College vote and tampering with evidence.

The guilty verdict marks the third time that prosecutors have secured convictions for seditious conspiracy in the Justice Department’s historic prosecution of those who breached the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

From the beginning I suspected Tarrio is some sort of agent-in-place.

The FBI did this with anti-war organizations in the 1960s, they are pretty good at it.

No, he would have gotten a get out of jail free card.  Given the level of paranoia among the far right, he'd have been fingered long ago if there was a hint of cooperation with the feds.  I think it's easy to see how paranoid they are when you see what they have done with Ray Epps, who now lives his life in hiding.

Excellent news.

Now to follow the trail of the conspiracy.

The serious jail time these guys are facing opens an opportunity for a cooperation deal.

Rat upwards and reduce your sentence, it’s a deal to be considered.

And there ladies and gentlemen ends the debate over whether or not the J6 attack was a protest or an act of sedition.

From now on we can all refer to the J6 sedition and reference court verdicts to demonstrate this to be true.

From now on we can all refer to the J6 sedition and reference court verdicts to demonstrate this to be true.

In addition to that, its also worth noting the often referred to false claims that there were no weapons:

The FBI on Tuesday arrested a Florida man accused of setting off an “explosive device” in the US Capitol tunnel during the attack on January 6, 2021.

"In one of the most violent scenes of the Capitol riot, a line of police officers protected an entrance to the building against violent rioters who used poles, bats, fists, stolen riot shields, chemical spray and, according to court documents, small explosives to attack the officers."

& here's another one of those peaceful rioters............................

"An ex-FBI official who allegedly urged rioters to "kill" officers during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was previously the supervisory special agent in charge of Homegrown Violent Extremism for the FBI New York Field Office's Joint Terrorism Task Force, a senior law enforcement official told NBC News"
