The White House is bracing for the political fallout from the charging decision in the Hunter Biden case. And they’ve concluded that Republicans will attack them over it whether President Joe Biden’s son is criminally indicted or not.

In conversations, Democrats and senior West Wing aides are downplaying the potential impact, arguing Hunter Biden was a factor in the 2020 election and voters elected his father anyway.

They point out the president’s top rival, Donald Trump, was just indicted himself.

"“But the Republicans have failed — both in the 2020 campaign and in their 2023 congressional hearings — to have questions about Hunter Biden impact public opinion and I don’t think they will succeed now, regardless of what DOJ decides.”

and

"But they also point out that Trump made many of these allegations during the 2020 campaign, even springing one of Hunter’s ex-business partners, a man named Tony Bobulinski, as a surprise guest at the last 2020 general election debate. It had little impact."

Could that be because the narrative at the time was

and factually discussing the evidence of biden's corruption would get you banned from the internet and labelled a "conspiracy theorist"?

Politico's dishonest phrasing is a modern marvel, shocking people trust this outlet.

I think if you want to look for dishonesty by looking closer to home. For example, Twitter delayed reporting on the topic and discussion of the hunter Biden laptop for one day. So who was banned from the internet?

"no attempting to intimidate" you say?

In England we have a saying that runs,

"Put your money where your mouth is".

If the proof of intimidation is there then take it to the courts.

If not then there is nothing to prove.

I have just read, before the Daily Mail DEMANDED if remove my ad blocker or not read the article, that the allegation, which is what it is, is merely repeating what Comer has said.

He is supposedly a very powerful man but does not seem to want to take the "allegations" further to a court case.

I wonder why?

As for the DM, who really cares what they write anyway?

Jeez, the President won't even acknowledge his 7th grandchild (daughter of Hunter). Maybe he is trying to make some distance between himself and his son. Yet, they did take that trip to Ireland together a while ago. Kinda surpirsed he didn't send Hunter for Charles' coronation!  Or Kamala for that matter...

I'm confused.

I'm wondering if biden can get 51 more agents to sign a letter saying it has the earmarks of Russian Collusion. Hey, it worked for last election.

I'm wondering why you apparently don't understand the distinction between agents and former agents.

Theoretically they should be of equal value for this.

However..........

Best you tell j biden that yourself, those former agents sure made an impression on him.

Biden accused Trump of spreading Russian disinformation after the President brought up recent articles in the New York Post about Biden’s son, Hunter, and his business dealings with Ukraine. Trump specifically cited a “laptop” that contained emails allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden.

“There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he's accusing me of is a Russian plant,” Biden said. “… Five former heads of the CIA, both parties, say what he's saying is a bunch of garbage. Nobody believes it except his good friend Rudy Giuliani.”

So what? It confirms they were former agents, which means they didn't depend hierarchically from Joe.

And before you come up with the debunked lie from Jim Jordan.

What has this had to do with your false assertion that agents signed on to this?

Given the State of affairs in the USA, it amazing me how much Time and USD are being expended for two political factions trying to destroy each other.   From my prospective there are so many more events in the USA, as well as World-Wide that would benefit to a much greater degree given the Resources,  Time and USD that is being depleted over these issues.

Corruption free government and governance under the law is probably up there with the important stuff that needs doing.

If there is evidence of a President’s son (or daughter) committing crimes, put it to a Grand Jury, if they hand down indictments, take it to trial.

Regardless of who the President is, past or present.

Nobody above the law.

It's all catching up to Joe. You can run, but you can't hide. Eventually the truth will surface.

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

This ‘truth’ you refer to, where is it hidden and how come you know about it if it’s not already out?
