"Big Joke" confirms that the evidence is all connected

Dr. Khunying Pornthip Rojanasunan, a former director of the Institute of Forensic Science, has shed new light on the mysterious "Am Cyanide" case.

After assisting with forensic advice, Dr. Pornthip revealed that the victims all died under unnatural circumstances, reported Siam Rath.

Dr. Pornthip worked closely with the police investigation team to provide forensic expertise, aiming to clarify and complete the investigation as much as possible.

Though she refrained from giving detailed conclusions about the cause of death for all 14 victims, she confirmed initial observations that the corpses shared certain similarities. These included sudden, unexpected death, with a majority of the victims being female.

Police General Surachet "Big Joke" Hakpal, Deputy Commissioner of the National Police, confirmed that Dr. Pornthip's involvement as a forensic expert, while not legally binding, has been invaluable to the ongoing investigation.

Hakpal remained confident that the information gathered will prove useful and aligns with the existing investigative work. He did not provide specific details but assured that all evidence was interconnected, indicating a serial killer at work.

General Hakpal expressed confidence in the evidence gathered so far, noting that the police's information differs from that in the media. He expressed certainty that the culprits will be brought to justice. Investigations into potential accomplices are currently underway.

He affirmed that all evidence related to the victims' deaths has been collected. If any co-offenders are discovered, action will be taken without exception.

This assurance highlights the seriousness with which the police are treating this complex and highly publicized case.

She used her trusty GT200 "Cyanide Detector".

I thought that she was persona non grata.

Hapkarn must feel overwhelmed with the massive workload (Chinese bahving badly, police corruption, serial/mass murder, drugs, embezzlements, financial scams, gambling....), so he needs "experts".

Has National Police Chief Damrongsak gone missing? Should a BOLO be issued for him?

Why are the doctors who certified these deaths not being taken to task!!  Surely there are basic signs on the body when death is caused by cyanide.  My faith in Thai doctors has lowered further.

Maybe they didn't all have autopsies?

Just thinking.

Pornthip is a bit of a freak and photo op queen…as she assists police, she determines that bodies with traces of cyanide, these people deaths were not natural! Brilliant!

But then, she’s the incredibly intelligent woman that found the GT200 bomb detectors were wonderful.

you are being crass and unkind to her.

She is a private consultant and answered directly what her observations of the case are as the majority have been already cremated.

It may seem basic her observations but she is a much revered professional in her field. I resent you calling her a freak and in fact she is a titled Thai woman and the Les Majeste rule can be vaguely applied.

She has always avoided the Media where possible and only answers summarialy ..so where do you get your rediculous ideals from?

Re the bomb detection scanners, she was the head of the dept and has had to answer for it.

I'm sure common sense will prevail and she will be exonerated.

So how about applaudingKhunyong Porntip for her difficult role and see her as routing for the families of these deceased victims.
