Christians believe that the world will end with a battle between good and evil, and that this will happen in northern Israel

let's hope that the head of Hezbollah doesn't read this

In Christian apocalyptic literature, Mount Megiddo, the hill overlooking the valley, is identified as the site of the final battle between the forces of good and evil at the end of time, known as Armageddon and mentioned in the New Testament in Revelation 16:16.

Revelation was written in a time of extreme local turmoil. The author expecting it to happen "in the very near future".

Another wandering priest told his followers that the Kingdom of God on Earth will come to pass "in the very near future".

"The very near future" was some 2000 years ago. None of it materialised.

World economic collapse. AAPL (Apple) market capitalisation is now more than the whole Russell 2000 index.

Madness!       PLUS: Since the financial crisis of 2008 incredible amounts of "liquidity" have been pumped into the system, just to keep it going. Come hell or high water "economic growth MUST be maintained".

As a result, now we are sitting on a gigantic global "debt pyramid". No more "free money". Interest on debt has to be paid again, as before. Just to service this debt has now become a major factor for a good number of countries/companies.

On the horizon: "You can't fool all the bond investors all the time". Another pathway to Armageddon.

Then came the Millerites in the 1800s, convinced the world would end soon, something that the Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists and the Jehovah's Witnesses have played with

Despite all the BS today with "global" wars ready to start any moment, I assume I will live out my days in happy oblivion
