A Thai cannabis vendor fought with an Indian tourist over a road rage incident in Pattaya last night. The man stabbed the tourist in the chest and put him in the hospital.

 

The 25-year-old man, Mr. Nonthawat Sritamart, was promptly arrested by Pattaya Police after stabbing the Indian tourist only identified as Mr. Gulshan, aged 25, below his left chest.

 

The violence took place last night, May 17th, on Soi Pattaya 16 in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district. Pattaya Police and Sawang Boriboon rescuers rushed to the incident site to aid the injured Indian man and arrest Mr. Nonthawat.

 

The suspect suffered cuts on his right hand and bruises on his body. Law enforcement confiscated a knife believed to be the weapon used in the assault from him and provided him with first aid before taking him to the Pattaya Police Station.

 

The Indian tourist, on the other hand, was rushed to a nearby hospital by Good Samaritans before the authorities reached the location. Fortunately, his injuries were not fatal.

One guys scooter grazed the others and they stopped to settle it.  Boo hoo, my 30K baht Honda scooter got another scratch, now I will stab you.  25 year olds should all be walking home for pete's sake .

Same as the Thai that shot the Iranian dead in the nightclub, he knew he couldn't beat him during the fight so had to pull out his gun and shoot him at point blank to win and not lose face.

 

Losing the next 2 years in prison doesn't matter.

Why not "Tourist stabbed by..."  is it to obfuscate, get clicks and inevitable comments about cannabis?

Probably a falling out between a drug dealer and a customer. Just because he sells weed, doesn't mean he's limited to weed only. Very suspicious indeed. No good will come in relaxing the laws around hard drugs.

Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate used to be a favourite of mine back in my younger days when I used to smoke the stuff regularly. ????  

 

For those that obviously don’t understand I’ve got mates in their 50s/60s who still smoke everyday and they are some of the most passive people that you will ever come across. Even my ex would prefer me to stay in and have a spliff instead of going down the pub and having 6-8 pints of Strongbow!

Alcohol has not been mentioned, and even the fact the ill tempered  Thai sells cannabis appears to be of no relevance.....stop building a strawman.

exactly. it should of read vendor in pattaya stabs as this was not at his place of work. 

Maybe he the Vendor should of had a puff of his own weed ! might of been bit more passive ????, possibly been drinking  alcohol   may of & might of avoided  road rage incidents over something stupid as usual ! Road rage knows no boundaries ???? wide "

I wouldn’t put too much money on it!

odds are, if he’d been smoking dope he couldn’t be bothered with fighting.  Mentioning his occupation is simply irrelevant!

If he worked in a liquor story would you assume he was drunk?

Having many years experience dealing with drunks and potheads, give me the potheads any day, always mellow never aggressive unless they have taken something else as well.
