Police in southern Thailand accused of extorting 230,000 baht

A Thai man accused officers from La Mae Police Station in the southern province of Chumphon of extorting 230,000 baht from him. He said he was falsely charged during a random road checkpoint inspection.

Harley-Davidson rider dies in collision on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road in Bangkok

A 50-year-old man riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle lost his life in a traffic accident on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road. The motorcyclist was hit by an unidentified vehicle before crashing into the rear of a taxi. The incident is currently under investigation by the Thung Song Hong police station.

Serial murder suspect Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn is alleged to be a heavy online gambler who has spent a combined 78 million baht betting since 2020, with up to 10 million baht wagered in a single day, Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, the deputy national police chief, told the media today (Friday).
