The secretary general of the Pheu Thai party yesterday stated  
The coalition government will remain intact despite statements from the electoral commission  it is investigating some 20 candidates who may have been involved in alleged electoral rigging or vote-buying, 
The next step will be verification of the MP’s then the House of Representatives will select a House Speaker.
Local press report the final decision to vote in the new prime minister maybe as late as mid August.

 

Meanwhile, Paethongtarn Shinawat, spoke to the press yesterday saying that her father Thaksin Shinawat will undoubtedly return to Thailand in July, without specifying a date.

 

Investigations are underway following an attack by hackers who posted pornographic pictures on several  government websites and social media platforms in several provinces,


The number of organizations hacked was being investigated but it included at least one police station and an educational office in bangkok where pornographic content was loaded to their facebook page.

 

A Buddhist nun in Nakhon Ratchasima has been arrested for fraud. She deceived people into investing in a fake cloud storage business and caused over a billion baht in damages. 3531 individuals filed complaints with the police, stating that they were lured into investing in a high-profit cloud storage venture. The nun's daughter, who was also involved, had been arrested earlier. the online fraud had reportedly lost victims some 1.3 billion baht.

 

Thousands turned out for yesterday's high spirited pride parade in Bangkok, many were dressed in multi colour outfits, hats and rainbow colour flags were flown. Most of the activity was seen around central world and siam square.


Move forward’s leader Pita Lim-jaroen-rat, also attended promising to pass a law that would allow same-sex marriage and gender identity rights if he becomes premier.

China: 19 people died after being caught in a landslide  when part of a mountain collapsed in southwestern Sichuan province yesterday.


The disaster sent mud and debris hurtling towards a construction site operated by a local mining company, it "struck and buried parts of the production and living facilities at the mineshaft platform",
Leaving 19 dead.
