Four Lao Nationals Arrested for Illegal Entry into Thailand

In a recent incident, four individuals of Laotian nationality were apprehended by Thai authorities for unlawfully entering the city, in violation of local regulations. The incident took place on the banks of the Mekong River in Ban Song Ao, Huai Phichai Subdistrict, Pak Chom District, Loei Province on the evening of June 8.

 

According to reports, the operation was conducted under the command of Pol. Lt. Gen. Phakphum Phuphiphat, the Provincial Police Commander, and his deputies, reported Siam Rath.

 

The responsibility for the investigation and apprehension was assigned to the joint efforts of the police investigative unit and the local security agencies. The suspects were identified as follows: Mr. Wan (surname undisclosed), aged 28, a Laotian national; Mr. Oi Wongphrachan, aged 25, also of Laotian nationality; Mr. Liap (surname undisclosed), aged 18, a Laotian national; and Mr. Kamla Bunsong, aged 30, a Laotian national.

Following their arrest, the individuals were transferred to the Pak Chom Police Station to proceed with the legal process. They are currently facing charges of illegal entry and residing within the kingdom without proper authorization.

 

The Thai authorities remain committed to upholding the country's laws and regulations concerning immigration and national security. Instances of unauthorized entry into the country are taken seriously and dealt with according to the law. The joint efforts of the police and security agencies have proven effective in ensuring the safety and well-being of the nation and its citizens.

That's the reason I even looked at the article.  Expecting something "big"  along with four Lao's crossing the border.

likely its a new "border team" and they want to take over "the revolving door" and its channels - who collects money and who is "the contact". 

the torrent of illegal crossings is huge so the money.
