hello, so if I'm on a 60 day TR visa,   does the renewal date have anything to do with the length of use of visa? Or just the stamped in dates?  if based on stamped on dates, what is the earliest I can go to CW and do the extension? I have 3 weeks left till end of stamp.

apparently I should make an appointment , with a hard copy of the appt? make it for early in the morning? , and have to ask my apt manager for a hard copy of TM30 ?

Yes obtain TM30 from condo .

Usually folk apply for 30 extension couple of weeks prior to expiry of permit.

Good idea to make appointment. They word very well and yes you need to make hard copy of confirmation email.

Time slot does not matter with appointment as they run on time.

Just select what best suits you.

Here is link for appointment.

So the dates have nothing to do with the TR60 visa expiry date. All that should matter is being within 2 weeks from the expiry of the stamped in date?

1) TM30 hard copy , no copies?

2) hardcopy of appt.

3) TM7 form (no passport photos needed?) (no copies?)

4) 1900 Baht or 2000 baht

5) 2 copies of passport front page with data, 2 copies of stamped in page?

6) 2 copies of original Visa?

something like that ?

thanks

The 30 days starts from expiry date of current permit.

In other works you don't lose days applying early.

TM7 is a two sided form.

If you print out your own do it as double sided.

The fee is 1900baht.

Requires photo.

One set of photocopies is fine.

TM30.

ID page of pp.

Last entry stamp.

Photocopy of visa.

TM6 if entered via land border.

hmm, Guess I see now TR60 e-visa, (unlike my old O-As),  expires ("must be used by") quickly , mine says "July 12, 2023" , but that date is Mute , as its been used already?

does CW have passport photo facilities, that open at a certain hour, I should make my appointment later than?

I guess I have 1 or 2 older passport photos somewhere, or somewhere on Sukhumwit may still make them, (in the US its becoming rare).

so, the TM7 must be used double-sided NOT as 2 single pages?

The entry prior to refers to date you must enter by.

Upon enter you are stamped in for 60 days and the visa is "used"

There is a print photo stall lower level.

In fact you can just hand them pp and tell them "extension for tourist visa" and you are covered
