The former psychiatric nurse has been detailing his story at length with a Norwegian true story podcast called Avhort. He reveals how he survived on the run living a hellish existence in Vietnam, which may not have been possible without the Covid pandemic crisis. He also disclosed that he was on the verge of being arrested by police at Orly Airport in Paris, a turn of events which would have seen him handed over to Interpol and deported back to Thailand on foot of an international arrest warrant for the fugitive still in force.
