I have a SCB Easy Account and am planning to get a debit card.   Bank reps are usually incentivized to push a certain type of card so am researching which card.

I will hardly ever use the card so am looking for one with low fees.  On their website their two lowest fee cards are Debit SCB M Visa Card and Let's SCB Debit Card which appears to be a Mastercard.  Do any of you have either of these cards or another SCB low fee cards?

I'm will hardly ever use the card.  I basically just want a card in my wallet with a high limit in case of emergency.

I have the SCB M Visa. I don't remember being given a choice when I opened the account, but I'd have chosen the cheapest option anyway. If you want to use the points, I think there's a separate app for that, but I've never tried. Other than that, it's an ATM card and a debit card. What else is there to say?

Nothing ????

"Let's SCB" they call mine

Mastercard

100 Baht enrollment

200 Baht annual

500k/day for shopping

Can do contactless/swiping

1 million/day for withdrawal

(if limits have been set accordingly).

When reading at SCB I see a free alert service via LINE connect?

Anybody knows how it works?

In the SCB app there is a separate section for card setup. Locking certain features or all (temporary).

Very important: check whether international online payment is enabled or not.

They had it disabled by default a while ago.

You also have to specifically allow online payments if you want to use that option.

But I was talking about the M points that you earn with the M series card. They have a separate app that's different from the banking app. I've never bothered with the points so I don't know much more about it.
