I bought a couple of these and  would like some advice on planting them in a Thai garden and care. The only advice I found was if it was an indoor pot plant in a temperate climate.

Strelitzia like a well drained soil bed and adequate watering during dry periods.  The rhizomes will slowly spread and may be dug out to contain the plants within a smaller area.

They grow well in poor soll on sloping ground and help retain an embankment.

Will they grow in the rocky material that they raise the land with to build on. My wife's house is built on such material as the area frequenly floods. I dug a hole to get the large and medium rocks and stones out then put in bags of compost in.
