Three trail runners die, 16 injured in bus accident in Si Sa Ket province

Three trail runners were killed and 16 others injured when their bus plunged into a ravine as it was making its ascent in the Phnom Dangrek mountain range, in Phu Sing district of Si Sa Ket province, on Sunday morning.

A POLICEMAN at Ron Phibun station in Nakhon Si Thammarat died after a drug-crazed man slashed his throat just as he was talking to him to calm down at around 11 p.m. last night, Naewna newspaper and Sanook.com said Saturday (July 8).

Ex-DSI chief Tarit resorts to Charter Court to delay reading of verdict

In a last-minute attempt to delay the reading of the Supreme Court’s verdict, scheduled on Monday, former director-general of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Tarit Pengdit, submitted a petition Friday, through the Supreme Court to the Constitutional Court, seeking a ruling on the constitutionality of Sections 157 and 200 of the Criminal Code.
