July 12, 20232 yr I had problems updating both my Bangkok Bank and Krungsri mobile apps on my phone. Could just be my phone but SCB is able to update OK. Krungsri and told them that I want their app on my IPad which doesn't have a Sim instead of my phone. I was told the initial registration must be done with a Sim. The rep told me it wasn't possible. Went back yesterday and a different rep was able to set it up but it was a complicated procedure. Bangkok Bank was also able to sort it out but again a complicated procedure. So a bank rep can arrange it so that your app is on your IPad instead of your phone. It's not that useful to have the app on an IPad instead of my phone but my phone otherwise works great and don't want to buy a new phone just to use these two apps. Many reason that I want the app is so I'm all set up if Bangkok Bank and Krungsri follow SCB's and go app only.
