Proceed to finalise the booking there is a payment fee 107 baht for air asia

If it was round trip for 2 people that fee becomes over 400, which is unfair, as processing of a payment doesn't require more resources if there are more people or legs in the itinerary, right? It's still a one-time transaction of some THB, so why charge 4x?

When I searched on google for AirAsia, the first result was airpaz. It looks like the official AirAsia site and I thought it's their site. This is a scam, they charge almost 500 Bhatt fee for a 2300 flight. And it happens for all payment methods, so why not include it in the price.

It wastes people time registering and filing details and maybe missing this addition when they pay. And they also think they book direct.

They don't even mention near the original price. When I went to AirAsia site. The price was 2000 and no booking fee.

Booking Air Asia with Airpaz commenced post Covid. It is NOT the official Air Asia booking site despite looking very similar in eye catching red! I was almost fooled once when trying to book a "Fly-thru" ticket from Siem Reap to Chiang Mai. There were complications and I realised I was not in the official Air Asia website. Scroll down until you see the correct site.

Airpaz is a travel agency booking flights, hotels, tours etc. throughout South East Asia.
