‘Dissatisfaction’ over new tours set up for Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei

Some residents and tour guides have expressed dissatisfaction with the new tours set up for Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei temples with a time limit set for tourists. The Apsara National Authority (ANA) issued a statement last week that said ANA will launch a visiting circuit for Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei temples with a time limit for tourists.


ANA said that this is to increase the quality of visits and increase the value of the temple, as well as provide a good experience for tourists.
According to ANA, the new pilot project for Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei will officially start on August 1.

 

ANA has confirmed that the necessary infrastructure and facilities such as stairs, railings, bars, signs, directions and bulletin boards on the walls of the galleries have been redesigned for the pilot tour.The authority has also confirmed that the new tour offers three options for tourists visiting Angkor Wat.

sounds they are going the way of the maya. probably not a bad thing. maya bay should be closed permanently though. all the structure built up to tour the beach needs to be torn down its ridiculous.
