I was thinking the same, especially with the "nonsense ranting". A friend of mine, in England, had his drink spiked and he set off on a ranting rage about everyone and everything, he wasn't naked and we were there to make sure we got him home to sleep it off. In the morning he couldn't remember a thing.

These guys should rather go to the french riviera. A plethora of nudist beaches to choose from (and a lot of "libertinage" action going on behind the rocks and Mediterranean bushes). ( ps : by the way< some of these beaches and sea fronts are paradise, can easily equal or surpass many Thailand beaches in terms of natural beauty and cleanliness. I cannot blame the Thai's for potentially having a low opinion of foreigners when foreigners like this are roaming around Pattaya. Everyday it is something ...... the list is endless .... fights, jumpers, bodies in freezers, drunk n disorderly, not paying bills, theft, fatal motorcycle accidents, drownings, drugs ....

As quoted here ..an unusual incident here in Pattaya..Haha tell me anything that happens here that could be unusual its Blooming Pattaya for god's sake anything goes...let the bloke enjoy his little walk he's just one of our quality visitors ...

In the tranquil pre-dawn hours of yesterday, an unusual incident shook the serene environs of Central Pattaya Beach in Nongprue, as residents discovered an unidentified male wanderer, sans clothing. The naked foreign gentleman, estimated to be approximately 50 years old, was found loudly muttering to himself near the scenic Pattaya Beach, exhibiting erratic behaviour that startled the neighbourhood.

 

Pattaya City Police, led by Captain Sonthaya Khonsap, arrived at the scene soon after being alerted by the bewildered residents. The scene was decidedly unusual, with the foreign man continuing his unabated monologue, seeming to be engrossed in various global political concerns.

 

Despite the earnest attempts by the police to communicate with him, the man’s utterances proved indecipherable to the officers, reported The Pattaya News.

 

Following continual negotiations spanning an approximate quarter of an hour, the captive audience of law enforcement officers was successful in convincing the man to accompany them to the Pattaya Police Station. The gentleman, however, made it clear that full cooperation could not be expected as he adamantly refused to share his identity.

I was told the police have finished their investigation and confirmed he is not German.

 

The lack of socks and sandals has confirmed this.
