August 1, 20232 yr Good morning Any TV member have a recommendation for a good bagel easily sourced in Bangkok? The best I've had so far is Tops Bakery, B65 each and very close to the real thing. I've tried Maison Jean Philippe from Villa Mart and it was poor quality bread in the shape of a bagel. Thanks

August 1, 20232 yr There is a guy in Roi Et who makes them . I got three dozen and froze them and the were good for a long time. I would take one out , pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds, then split them and put them in the toaster or in a frying pan with a bit of butter. Arroy mak mak . I also made bagel pizza . easy to do and delicious. He ships everywhere in Thailand. https://www.facebook.com/stergio.alexander

Thanks I've tried several of the Maison Jean Phillipe offerings (bread, muffins, bagels etc.) and not been impressed with any of them. Marginally better (if at all) than the Thai generic stuff, just packed in smaller quantities in cellophane bags with a flashy label at 3-4 times the price. Pass.

August 2, 20232 yr AuBon Pain has some decent bagels. I like their Jalapeño Cheese ones very much. Not all locations have all of the choices however. The Onion bagel is good too.
August 2, 20232 yr I typically order my bagels in BKK for delivery via Grab or Foodpanda... My favorite regular bagel is the "classic" bagel from Monty's by Roast. They sell a 5-pack for delivery for 250 baht. https://food.grab.com/th/en/restaurant/monty-s-by-roast-bagel-sandwich-breakfast-bread-coffee-thecommons-thonglor-delivery/3-C2NZBATJTB3ENT? https://www.facebook.com/montysbkk Also recently tried a selection from the BKK shop called "BKK Bagels". They were bigger, and had a really nice cinnamon raisin version, and also a good wholewheat version. https://www.foodpanda.co.th/restaurant/s3h0/bkk-bagels-sukhumvit-33 https://www.facebook.com/BKKbagels Edited August 2, 20232 yr by TallGuyJohninBKK

August 5, 20232 yr Thanks above for posting about us here in Roi Et. I had to see it to believe it. We got several new customers this week because of this post above. https://www.facebook.com/likehomebagels101 You can see our bagel menu and order directly from our Facebook page by Messenger. We ship mostly to Isaan and the Bangkok area because it's nearly always next day. But we've also got customers in other places such as Chiang Mai, Krabi, Pattaya, Prachinburi, Hua Hin, and Sa Kaew who don't mind waiting for two days for them to arrive. Yeah like our customer said above, many customers order in bulk, receive and freeze to eat throughout the month. Thanks a bunch to you who posted about us. Really appreciate it.
