Several groups of taxi drivers gathered in front of Pheu Thai headquarters today (Tuesday), to express their disagreement over the Pheu Thai-Bhumjaithai bid to form a government.

Their leader, Worapon Kamkhuntod, told reporters that theywant to declare that they will no longer support Pheu Thai, because it is cooperating with a political party that has been ina government led by a coup leader.

On Monday, Pheu Thai held a joint press conference with Bhumjaithai, declaring that they would be core in forming the government. Bhumjaithai, led by Anutin Charnvirakul, is a coalition party in the outgoing government led by Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, who carried out the last coup in the country.

I think a lot of PT supporters will feel the same, and vote for MF next time around.????

Anutin will run the show...

Move foreward got most votes because Thais wanted some " fresh air " in Politics .

Tired of the forever ruling dinosaurs they voted for change .

No , they will NOT get what they voted for .

Another ugly dinosaur will run the country , concessions were made everywhere to please the old " elite " , only that they ( PT ) , arrive in the elevated positions they desired . ( Thaksin's design ...? )

Betrayal of the voters . Time for a revolution . Get the Guillotines ready .

Taxi drivers with principles are our future!

There are a lot of taxi drivers, if they are dissatisfied and start some uproar, it will be a chain reaction

There used to be honour among thieves.

I really do hope this spreads to other professions, such as bus drivers, lorry drivers, train drivers, 7/11 checkout staff,....Seriously though, let us hope it is the start of a trend, I for one do not want that xenophobic, racist in charge.

In Thailand it doesn't really matter who the people vote for, does it. If the 'wrong' party wins then they are not allowed to form the government.

Since when do Thai taxi drivers have morals? Whenever I'm in Bangkok, it's virtually impossible to get them to turn the meter on without admonishing them in terse Thai.
