Pita speaks out on PM vote, claims his re-nomination was valid

The leader of the Move Forward Party, which won the most seats in the May 14 general election, says there was no reason to block his re-nomination as PM at his second attempt. Pita Limjaroenrat says his name could have been re-submitted for a second vote in the joint sitting of parliament and that there was no need to wait for a court ruling.

On July 19, the re-submission of Pita’s name for the PM job was rejected by MPs and senators, who cited a House regulation that prohibits a previously-rejected motion being re-submitted in the same parliamentary session, unless there has been a change in circumstances.

Those who opposed Pita’s name being re-submitted claimed that, as he failed to get enough votes the first time round on July 13, the regulation should be enforced.

He should advise all of MFP to abstain from the vote, why should they support another party coalition that robbed him of what he deserved.

Thai politics.  No one understands it, not even Thai's.  They make up the rules as they go along.

Vote against PT.. See what they do or want to do... They want to form a Government with everybody except MFP.

Cambodia and Thai election very much the same, except Thai’s spice it up with more candidates.

However, end results are the same.

In Cambodia, they disqualify the candidates before the elections, or have them threatened or exiled. Look at the history of Sam Rainsy. Hun Sen is a genocidal former Pol Pot leader who has opponents and critics murdered, (check out thr story of Chea steals land and has amassed billions of dollars. The Thai politicians are corrupt and bad. But, Sen redefines the concept of a strongman dictator. And the West supports him.

It is reasonable for Pita to speak truth, and he should avoid joining the creeps. His party defined progress and change. Joining the coalition is the opposite of that.

waste of time with those 250 blocking him

The problem is you won the most seats at a Thai election and is unheard of not to have bought them ????
