Interactive Brokers setting up Deposit and Withdraw using ACH?

Featured Replies

I have just got my hands on a new IBKR account and setting up ways to Deposit and Withdraw using ACH there seems to be no way to call funds from my Citi account to IBKR using ACH? I can only use IBKR to deposit funds to Citi using ACH? Is this correct? How can I send from Citi to IBKR using ACH?

You can log on to you IBKR account to pull funds from CITI  using ACH.

You must connect your bank first. To do that, after you've logged in, click on " Transfer & Pay", and select " Transfer Funds".

After that , if you click on " Make a Deposit", you will get an instruction on how to deposit from CITI to IBKR if you goto CITI to request a transfer. To link a bank scroll down for the option. May be you didn't scroll down and therefore didn't see the option.

You can also click on " Make a withdrawal" to link a bank. After you have linked the bank you can do both deposit and withdrawal on IBKR.

That was how I had added my banks, I hope it still works.

Thanks  @Thailand J, your explanation has helped a lot. I can log into Citi from IBKR and set up a link as you say. Many thanks.
