A press conference will be held at Pheu Thai headquarters on Tuesday about the latest condition of convicted Thaksin Shinawatra, who is receiving medical treatment at the Police General Hospital in Bangkok.

 

This is according to Thaksin’s youngest daughter Paetongtarn, who was speaking after visiting her father for 40 minutes in hospital.

 

Today (Monday) is the first day that the Corrections Department has allowed visitor access for Thaksin, who has been convicted on multiple corruption charges and is serving eight years in prison.

It seems Jatuporn is pissed that he was a couple of times in jail, and the guy for who he went to jail will now possibly released early. I understand his point.

Thank you for this post. Totally agree, And certain members are much more ignorant than others, no names mentioned of course. But they know who they are!!! It was much better when the emojis and reactions told you who it was, as it does on 'the other' forum.

Is he speaking at this press conference? Did he ask for the press conference to be held? Is his medical condition political? You can be sick and it not be political, you know.

It seems you missed the part that the press conference of the guy who pretends to be out of politics is hosted in the head office of PT. Does it make it political? Of course. But obviously that is no surprise.

 

I will never like him, but I would respect him at least a little if he would clearly state that he never stopped working in politics and that of course he came back to Thailand to work even more in politics (and for his pocket and his family).

All his stupid excuses about grandchildren etc. are just that, stupid excuses.

Whatever the sarcasm, bitterness, hate and praise being posted on AN about Mister Thaksin, he is entitled to a hospital visit from his daughter, just the same for you should you end up sick!!
