Border police urged to prevent attacks from Cambodia

The Minister of Interior Sar Sokha urged police departments in areas bordering neighbouring countries to strengthen national sovereignty and prevent any group from launching attacks from Cambodian territory.

 

In a meeting with the leaders of the Ministry of Interior and the leadership of the National Police and the Capital and Provincial Police Chiefs on Tuesday, Sokha instructed the leaders of the National Police to strengthen their work according to their roles and responsibilities. They must be highly attentive to improve work efficiency.

 

He added that all provinces bordering neighbouring countries must safeguard national sovereignty, territorial integrity and  prevent any attempts to use Cambodian territory to attack the neighbours.
