In a joint effort to curb incidents of teenage brawls, law enforcement and local officials conducted a thorough inspection of Pattaya Beach.

On September 1, 2566, at 11:00 PM, Pol. Lt. Surachet Enkasri, Deputy Superintendent of Pattaya Police, and Nong Kamchon Konthong, Bang Lamung District Chief, led a team comprising officers from various units. Over 30 officers, including tourist police, local administrative officers, and special operations personnel, patrolled the beach area.

The focus of the inspection was the group of teenagers gathered on the beach. The officers checked for weapons, illegal substances, and ensured that individuals under the age of 20 were advised to return to their accommodations. Despite the thorough checks, no illegal activities were found.

I'm always amazed at the number of officers in these operations.   It is possible to go weeks without seeing ONE during the day hence the continued carnage on the roads.

They need to dress like Indians with big gold chains. Then they can sneak up on the criminals.

Hey, Don't forget to patrol in Jomtien too.  The boom box car jagoffs have been making a comeback this week, usually after 3 am.

The hair-cuts a give-away.

11pm?  Geez, must have been some money in it.

Which one of them is the son of a beach many people refer to?

I miss Covid times , so quiet , private beach near Cabbages and Condoms use to go out there everyday Sunning , Swimming

"In a joint effort to curb incidents of teenage brawls, law enforcement and local officials conducted a thorough inspection of Pattaya Beach."

So, was it still there? From the amount of manpower ("Over 30 officers, including tourist police, local administrative officers, and special operations personnel,...") and lack of results ("Despite the thorough checks, no illegal activities were found.") it would appear that the beach was the only thing that was inspected ????

Another photo op joke.

The word thorough and city hall officials and the BiB is incompatible...

Whack-A-Mole.  Beach Edition.

Here we go again. There have been fights on the beach between groups of young people. The police actually do their job by patrolling and checking for weapons etc - and sure enough, along come a bunch of idiot AN contributors slagging them off for doing their job, just as they would if the police did nothing. Pathetic.

Just do regular patrols along the beach say on a quad bike, every day, not just turn up mob handed once a week, stop with this PR BS. ????

How does one 'thoroughly inspect' a beach?

What do you look under, for example?

' Despite the thorough checks, no illegal activities were found'

Obviously the same group that found no evidence of prostitution in Walking St.

This is their sport. If they didn't have this, life would be unliveable. Best not to take them seriously. Drunks at your local pub.

Photo call where's  my Polaroid.

You have to  admit, they often seem to arrive a bit late to the party.

Now they're concentrating on the Beach, (it looks good for the Tourists),     the kids   have now moved to East Pattaya (Soi Kow Noi in particular), fighting, and throwing petrol bombs at each other

Short skirts, bikini bottoms for proper trim(s), towels with more than 2 hands under them? :wai:
