Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, the iconic advocate for social entrepreneurship and micro finance, was recently in Bangkok to inaugurate the Yunus Centre in Thailand. Over the years, Professor Muhammad Yunus’s ideas have evolved from microfinance in Bangladesh to championing social business and entrepreneurship. His overarching goal remains to create a better world through the collective actions of individuals.

 

He inaugurated the latest Yunus Centre at The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) in Thailand, the fourth of its kind in the country. Globally, there are now 106 Yunus Centres affiliated with universities in 40 countries.

Maybe he could have a chat about the election system in Thailand.

I think he should go to the USA, seems a bunch of folks over there waiting for hand outs could use an inspirational talk.

 

I see a lot of folks here/TH with the desire to work and or start businesses for themselves.  Same with USA, but they never make the news.  

 

News has to be doom & gloom it seems.

Maybe go back to India and address the third world culture problems... why don't these gurus start at home???
